3-YEAR “GROW” INITIATIVE!
Check out the GROW DEEP Table in the Foyer this Sunday and watch for many opportunities to GROW OUT, GROW DEEP and GROW YOUNG!

Our three-year GROW initiative influences our direction in areas such as our ministry programs, small groups, Sunday services, missions, etc.  GROW is all inclusive of everything we do here at VMCC, and serves as our pillars for all leadership direction and decision-making.   

We want YOU to know what GROW represents:

1) Growing OUT – reaching into our community. 
2) Growing DEEP – deepening our knowledge of God’s Word and letting it transform us as we grow together in God’s image. 
3) Growing YOUNG – learning how to connect with our next generations and understanding how they think and what they need to grow in their faith. 

We look forward to having every member and attender of Valley Mills Christian Church continue on this journey with us in 2024!

Valley of Hope Addictions Support is our new ministry umbrella for our growing addictions, recovery, and family support services.  These services include our faith-based 12 step program, our subsidized individual and family counseling services, and our partnership with the Decatur Township Drug-Free Coalition Recovery Coach program.  Our Valley of Hope Addictions Support program is an example of needs-based evangelism and local missions right here in Decatur Township.  For questions, please contact Robin Paul through the church office or visit the website to learn more HERE!

Pastoral staff are always willing to provide support and spiritual guidance at no cost, but sometimes life stressors result in the need for deeper psychotherapy with certified or licensed counselors who have specific training in understanding clinical etiology and bio-physical chemical imbalances.

Board Certified Pastoral Counselor (Dr. John Nolan) offers counseling appointments to anyone from Valley Mills Christian Church OR the community for a substantially reduced rate of $40 per one-hour session during his office hours at church on Wednesdays from 2-6 pm. To schedule an appointment, please contact Dr. Nolan at 765-676-5310. We hope that this initiative will bless our community members and families, as access to supportive emotional health services can be challenging.

Social Work Assistance:  In addition to counseling sessions, the church also employs a part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Robin Paul, that may be available to assist with short-term psycho-social needs and referrals, crisis intervention, and time-limited case management assistance for navigating complex medical and benefits systems that can feel overwhelming. Social work services (at a rate of $40 per one-hour session) may be consulted by calling the church office at 317-856-3766, or by emailing robinpaul@valleymillscc.org.
